Mandatory OSHA Training

Infectious Control/Blood Borne Pathogen Training - Refresher

The program will address the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and review of three most common bloodborne pathogens placing law enforcement at risk: Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV. Understanding the mode of transmission helps reinforce the utilization of Universal Precautions, vaccination recommendations and prompt reporting of any occupational exposures. The program will address what constitutes an exposure and available treatments in the event of exposure with special attention to issues specific to law enforcement, such as crime scene safety.

RTK/HazCom Refresher

FF1 Professional Safety Services will conduct a lecture and powerpoint on the current Hazcom Standard. The New standard will cover OSHA Hazcom as well as the new Global Harmonized System (GHS). GHS was incorporated into the Hazcom Standard in 2012.( Hazcom 2012 is Final Rule). This course will review the Right-to-Know/Hazard Communication and SARA Regulations as well as safety and health measures, Material Safety Data Sheets and Hazardous Substance Fact Sheets. This course meets the NJDOHSS and OSHA Regulations.

Elevator Emergency Training Class Standard

This class is a 3 hour lecture power point on generic elevators and the emergency procedures with dealing with these different elevators. The program will cover lock out tag procedures as well how to gain access to the occupants within the elevators and how to safely remove them.

Custom Elevator Emergency Training Class

This class will provide  a 3 hour lecture power point on elevators within your jurisdiction. The department requesting this custom program will be responsible for providing access to the elevators as well as the motor rooms and electrical rooms so that the instructor can take the pictures to build the program. The program will cover emergency procedures with dealing with the specific elevators within your jurisdiction. The program will also cover lock out tag procedures as well as how to gain access to the occupants within the elevators and to safely remove them. Upon the completion of the program the department will receive a copy of the program for future reference.

SCBA Refresher - Lecture or Hands on

(3 hours to complete)

This program meets the requirements of OSHA 1910.134 Respiratory Protection Rule.
