History of TECGEN71:
In September of 2015, Fire-Dex acquired TECGEN® PPE and began selling the PPE line within the Fire-Dex Dealer Network. After analyzing the lightweight TECGEN® fibers, our product development team began creating a stronger, lighter weight system by merging it with tried and true Nomex®/Kevlar® layers from DuPont. The product tests and wear trials have yielded measurable differences from traditional turnout gear available in the market today. 

To evolve and develop the fiber and offer some of the most protective gear available today, Fire-Dex partnered with Milliken & Company, headquartered in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Milliken shares a long history of fabric innovation and design.
