Ferrara

Ferrara Fire Apparatus (FFA)

Ferrara started in 1979 with a volunteer firefighter in Central, Louisiana whose department needed a tanker it couldn't afford - so he built one himself, using his background as a pipefitter. That instinct, building the truck a department actually needs rather than the one that happens to be on the lot, is still how Ferrara works. Every apparatus is engineered to the customer's specification at their plant in Holden, Louisiana.

The line is deliberately broad. Pumpers run from the Custom and MVP Rescue Pumper through the Invader and Commercial, up to the Inundator Super Pumper built for industrial flow rates. Aerials cover the HD-77, LP-102 and HD-107 ladders, the MVP Rescue Ladder and a tractor drawn aerial, alongside mid-mount and rear-mount HD-100 platforms. Rescues, custom and commercial tankers, wildland and industrial apparatus fill out the rest, and Ferrara's own chassis - Inferno, Igniter, Cinder and Invader - sit underneath most of it.

Custom engineering takes time, which is why the F-180 rapid delivery program exists for departments that can't wait. Firefighter One is an authorized Ferrara dealer, with factory-trained technicians, three repair facilities, a mobile service fleet and 24-hour emergency support behind every truck we sell. Pick the model that fits your response area and request a quote, and we'll work through chassis, pump, tank and body options with you.
