KME FIRE APPARATUS

Since 1946, KME has built custom fire apparatus for departments that ask a lot of their trucks. The range covers aerials and TDAs, pumpers, rescues, tankers and severe-service vehicles - and the reputation rests on the same thing throughout: heavy construction, sensible engineering, and apparatus a mechanic can actually work on.

That last part matters more than it sounds. A truck that is easy to maintain is a truck that stays in service, and for a department running one aerial, availability is everything.

FF1 represents KME in Maryland and Florida, with factory-trained technicians, three repair facilities, a mobile service fleet and 24-hour support. Whichever apparatus you buy, the people maintaining it are local.
