Turnout gear comes off a fire covered in combustion products. Clean cab practice says that gear doesn't ride back in the crew compartment, and a standard nylon bag doesn't stop off-gassing - it just moves it.

The LXFB99 is built for that job. A TPU-laminated shell with a waterproof zipper makes the bag airtight and IP67 rated, so contaminated gear is sealed from the moment it comes off until it reaches the extractor. The same construction means it holds water in rather than letting it out, which matters if gear is wet as well as dirty.

Grey rather than the usual red or black, deliberately - so a contaminated bag is visually distinct from a clean one on the apparatus and nobody puts the wrong gear in the wrong bag.
