Cut Level 1 is the light end of cut protection — enough for general handling where the hazard is abrasion and incidental edges rather than sustained cutting. The nitrile dip gives grip on oily or wet surfaces while keeping the glove thin enough for dexterity. For glass, sheet metal, or extrication, step up to Cut Level 5.
